Working with co-director Clark Slater, I developed, produced, filmed, and edited the short documentary: More Than a Medal. The film tracked down and highlighted families of World War I soldiers who were denied the Medal of Honor due to their race, religion or creed. This powerful piece was commissioned by Park University in St. Louis, Missouri, and eventually was screened at the National World War I Museum and Memorial in St. Louis, as well as the St. Louis Film Festival and several other festivals across the United States.
